What to Expect
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid. John 14:27
We are currently worshipping in person and our services are also livestreamed on YouTube. Our worship services are structured to help us bring our whole selves to God. We sing together long treasured hymns of faith and new songs of praise. There is a time to bring our pain and guilt to the feet of Jesus and find forgiveness. We listen to scripture from thoughout the Bible and our Pastor leads us in considering its meaning and call on our lives. We pray for our weary world, lifting up the joys and concerns on our hearts. We encourage and embrace each other with the peace that we have first received from God. During this time of COVID-19, we are gathering for fellowship on Zoom after the worship service. As we draw together as a church family and focus our attention on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, we are nourished to continue worshipping with our lives throughout the week. We are likely going to be resuming our in-person service in addition to our online service soon. We are committed to following the direction of our county’s public health professionals and taking the upmost precautions to protect our community. Please check back for more detailed information as we get closer to that milestone, including information about children’s ministry.
In addition to our Sunday worship service, we have a midweek scripture reading and meditation service on Thursdays at 10 am in the beautiful Callistro Park, adjacent to our church building and parking lot (off of Center Street). There are also book and Bible studies that are conducted throughout the year. Please feel free to call our office during the hours of 9-1, Monday through Friday, for more information. We would love to have you join us!
