Good News May 7, 2013

First Presbyterian Church formed a partnership with Presbiteriana of El Tres, which hosts a childcare center.  With our support, the community built the room to house a water filtration system, and on May 3, 2013, the first team of Doug and Cheryl Hunt, Cecilia Moran, Albert Taylor, and Mark Vanciel arrived with the components and supervised the operating partners in the installation. Community leaders were trained to teach on-going clean water use lessons to those who will be using the water.

On May 7, 2013 the first Clean Water project in Colombia was completed, and the people of the community drank water from the tap for the first time in their life!
